Blow it off for months.

I've been just so busy these days. Lame excuse, huh?

More accurately, I think LJ and fandom are just another phase that I am slowly outgrowing. (Although, the last of the HP books are kind of making me want to jump back in). Plus, I've never really been all that great at keeping a journal. I really want to say that I'm going to write in this every week.. but we all know how likely that will be.



Speaking of fandom and all that... the last Harry Potter book is coming out in just a few days. I'm so excited, and kind of sad at the same time. I'm debating whether I want to post my "theories". On one hand, it would be fun to see a small thing or two be right. On the other (and far more likely!) hand, I would feel silly to have all my little ideas be so far and completely off from what happens.

Plus, I'm kind of lazy, and don't feel like typing it all up into something comprehensible.

Guess what I'm totally watching right now.

The 10th Kingdom. I'm just that cool. I blame it on peekvid....darn them and all their tantilizing movies/tv shows!

Not gonna lie. I will totally watch this movie.

It's almost two in the morning, and I can't sleep. But I really don't care... I had such an amazing day :D

I went sledding with what little snow there was on the ground. It was incredible amounts of fun until I hit the tree. *winces in remembrance* Hard. Damn tree. Seriously, that thing was not there when I decided to venture down the hill.

Then it just kind of popped out of nowhere. I think that's the problem with sledding with trees in the general vicinity. The trees may look like they are out of the way. But really, they aren't. They are just waiting in prey for you. *nods solemnly*

The best part about the day, however, was getting to pull a Malfoy and be all "injured" for attention. From who? ....well, long story, but cafe-boy :D Whoohoo for me!

I keep lookjing at that and thinking it doens't seemed speeled right.

I'm at a party and determined not to drink too much but I odn't think it's going work out so well :D

Today was a fabulously amazing kind of day. There should be more days like today. (except, of course, The Office should of been on...but let's not go into that)

It's been almost a month since I've even checked this thing. I've always hated that whole "sorry guys, I've been busy with 'real life' stuff"...but now I'm totally going to use that excuse.

It has been crazy amounts of busy over here. Whenever I've actually had some free time - I've just never had any motivation to get online. It's taken me a while to bounce back since the funeral. I guess I took it a lot harder than I thought I would. But I'm slowly becoming myself again, and learning that sometimes it's okay to turn to others for help. I've always been the kind of person that doesn't go to others - but rather hides it all away to deal with alone. And that doesn't always turn out so well... Sometimes, you just have to admit that you need help. So yay, I've learned something. For once.

I can't say that I'll be updating all the time - but I'm definately going to be making an effort :D At that counts. Right?

Okay, enough rambling on the internets. I have to go and work on my research paper due tomorrow... *flails arms* It's supposed to be 25 pages and I've got nothing so far. NOTHING!!! *hyperventilates*
I can do this...it's going to be okay....just 25 five pages.... *ded*

Sorry I haven't been around lately. There was a family situation. I was unexpectedly out of town all week, in a tiny little town with no internet. Well, I suppose other houses more than likely had internet, but there was no connection where I stayed.

EDIT: I have just sent out the most bizarre email. It's weird how something big can happen, but the world just keeps moving on, and you still have those everyday obligations to fufill. it's just ... i don't know.

Okay... I know it's a little early for this, but:

I am so unbelievably excited for Halloween!  
So excited that it gets its own special color :D

Why am I so excited?  Haunted Houses people, haunted houses!   I plan to gather up a large group of friends, and hit up as many haunted houses as we can.  I also plan to scream my head off.  It's gonna be great :D  Then perhaps we might go seek out the fun (and usually drunken) costume parties. 

What do you all think you might be doing?

That is actually way better than I thought I would do. I haven't read the HP books in quite a while! I was worried that my brain may have been diluted with tons of crazy ideas/theories that were completely fanon. Sometimes I get those moments where I'm not sure if I read something in the book, or in a fic.

EDIT: Wow... I just reread this before I went to post it, and realized something. I am a dork. I am swearing off all fic for the next week. Instead, I will do something uber constructive. Like create world peace.

You know what? I realize that it's been a long time since I've read any fic. At least a few weeks...

I thinks its because I just kept running across really, really, bad fics! And yes, I realize that I am writing about fanfic at two in the morning. I'm not crazy... just fic deprived, and maybe a little sleep deprived too.

I'd go off in search of good HP or House fic, but I really think I'm just too lazy for that now...
